Review of important events of Central Asian countries

The UN notes positive processes leading to consolidation in Central Asia, special representative of the UN Secretary General Natalia Gherman announced. She noted that this allows not only talking about strengthening regional cooperation, but also about developing the enormous potential of the Central Asian republics. The UN Secretary General's Special Representative noted that all issues will be resolved in a positive way with the efforts of the heads of state of Central Asia. Natalia Gherman also highlighted the important role of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan in the world.


The establishment of the Central Asian Chamber of Commerce was discussed at the Bishkek Investment Forum. As businessmen noted, its main task is to provide information to investors who are interested in the Central Asian market with the population of more than 60 million people. The Central Asian Chamber of Commerce will promote more active economic cooperation in the region. The platform will provide information about projects that are supported by a certain country, and about the most promising spheres.


The forum of art managers of Central Asia, held in Bishkek, is aimed at developing the cultural sphere and forming a network of leaders implementing joint projects. The forum is to become a discussion platform for the exchange of experience. The Central Asian art managers forum was held under the patronage of UNESCO, with the support of the Goethe Institute and the Swiss Cooperation Office.
