Man arrested under terror laws after package found on London tube train
A 19-year-old man has been arrested by counter-terrorism officers after a suspicious device was blown up at a London tube station. Law enforcers had to use a stun gun. No other suspects are being sought. A terror alert at North Greenwich station was prompted when a worker discovered an abandoned bag. For security reasons, the police carried out a controlled explosion and evacuated all the passengers. The number of police officers on the streets and public transport will increase after the incident, London police said.
