Cultural and educational project ‘Ulagatty Urpak’ launches in Kazakhstan
Offering supplementary education, cultivating personal self-determination in children and facilitating the realization of their potential, as well as moral and spiritual development of schoolchildren - Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Sports launched a unique cultural and educational project ‘Ulagatty Urpak’ (The Great Generation), Kazakh Minister of Culture and Sports Aktoty Raimkulova stated at a press briefing. She said that the project is designed for school students in grades 1 through 11 and has a convenient format of video lessons no more than 10 or 15 minutes.
“Without leaving home, children can take virtual tours to sacred places of Kazakhstan, contemplate the best of the opera, ballet and dramatic arts, watch interesting Kazakh and foreign movies and cartoons, as well as enjoy the sound of astonishing musical pieces,” Raimkulova said.
University students aren’t left out either. The website ‘madeni-m.kz’ was developed specially for them. It contains video lessons on five subjects, including music, theater, cinematography, fine arts and ‘Sacred Kazakhstan’. The online content is available both in Russian and Kazakh.
