Kazakh president signs amendments to anti-corruption legislation
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the Law on Amendments and Supplements to Legislative Acts on Anti-Corruption Issues, the Akorda press service reported. The document establishes a total ban on gifts, financial incentives and the provision of services to civil servants and their families in exchange for actions in favor of the donor. These norms apply to the quasi-public sector as well. The law also regulates the issues concerning relatives working in one organization, the reporting of corruption offences and other affairs.
