UK citizens can learn Kazakh language online
Citizens of the United Kingdom can now learn the culture and language of Kazakhstan. An online Kazakh language cabinet has been opened in London. This is the result of interaction between Kazakh Embassy to UK and Otandastar Foundation.
“The Otandastar Foundation announces the start of the second semester of the Kazakh language course. Nearly a thousand participants from 12 countries are already studying Kazakh language within the framework of the online course provided by the Otandastar Foundation and the World Association of Kazakhs,” reported the press service of Kazakh Embassy to UK. Special lectures of the online course can be viewed on the Foundation's YouTube channel.
The Otandastar Foundation and the World Association of Kazakhs with the support of Kazakh Ministry of Information and Social Development, Kazakh Foreign Ministry and Russia’s Government of Omsk region solemnly opened the Kazakh cultural and business house “Abai Uii”.
“The event was attended by Kazakh Deputy Minister of Information and Social Development Marat Azilkhanov, representatives of Kazakh Foreign Ministry, the consulates of Kazakhstan in Omsk as well as the leaders of the Otandastar Foundation, representatives of the public association “Kazakhs of Omsk” and others. During the event, the organizers announced that the goals and objectives of the Kazakh cultural and business houses “Abai Uii” are to promote and popularize the cultural heritage of Kazakhs and to strengthen business and humanitarian ties with compatriots abroad,” the press service of Kazakh Ministry of Information and Social Development said in Telegram.
The Otandastar Foundation plans to open four more Kazakh cultural and business houses “Abai Uii” by the end of the year in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Germany and Turkey.
