Literary competition “Altyn Tobylgy” accepts applications

The competition “Altyn Tobylgy” (“Golden Meadowsweet”), which is to be held for the sixth time this year, aims to support, develop and popularize the modern Kazakh fiction. This was reported by the press service of the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Nominations of the competition: “The best prose”, “The best poetry”, “The best dramaturgy”, “The best children's work” and “The best work dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai”.

Young authors aged from 18 to 35 years can take part in the competition with works on Kazakh or Russian languages. An author also can participate in two nominations. Winner of the special nomination will receive three million tenge (US$7,027).
