“On the basis of the Modernization of Kazakhstan’s Identity program and the article of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ‘Abai in the 21st century’, we are organizing a multi bicycle marathon with the intention of making a civic contribution to the popularization of Abai’s 175th anniversary. The trip has several important goals - to take an active part, to make civic contribution to the promotion of the rich legacy of Abai Kunanbaiuly and encourage the general public, especially young people, to lead a healthy lifestyle, as well as promote love for the country and the land,” said the initiator of the bicycle trip Yernat Melsovich.
