Kazakhs living abroad can learn Kazakh language online
Kazakh language lessons will begin in online format in five countries for those Kazakhs who live far from their homeland. This was reported at a meeting of Kazakh Deputy Minister of Information and Social Development Marat Azilkhanov and leadership of “Otandastar” Foundation. According to the ministry’s Telegram account, the participants discussed projects for opening cultural and business centers in five countries and online lessons of studying Kazakh language. Kazakhs who live in Russia, Turkey, Germany, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan can practice the language.
Also, during the meeting, Vice President of the Foundation Magauiya Sarbasov told about the work of the organization and shared the plans for the future. He touched upon the signing of cooperation memorandums with Kazakh public associations in foreign countries. 25 states have such agreements. More than 800 Kazakhs attended 22 online lessons.
Marat Azilkhanov noted that the work on increasing the number of online Kazakh language lessons in foreign countries should be continued.
