Information on distribution of humanitarian aid arriving in Kazakhstan is now publicly available
Information on distribution of humanitarian aid, transparency of procurement and supply of medicines to medical organizations can now be viewed in the ‘People’s Control’ section on the SK-Pharmacy company’s website.
“The data in the section is updated on a daily basis. All information about humanitarian aid, including the dates of its arrival, shipment, and quantity, as well as information about the final recipients, became publicly available. There are two tables in the section of the website, in which the distribution of the humanitarian aid is indicated by region and medical organizations,” SK-Pharmacy company said in a statement.
The company is also considering the establishment of a Public Council.
Being an operator for receiving humanitarian aid, SK-Pharmacy company obtains the incoming humanitarian cargo, then forms a distribution list in coordination with Kazakh Health Ministry and ensures the transportation of the goods from benefactors. Logistic procedures are carried out at the expense of the company.
Since the introduction of quarantine in Kazakhstan due to the spread of coronavirus, the country has received humanitarian aid from China, Japan, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Qatar, Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as a number of large foreign companies. All medicines were equally distributed among the regions of the country.
