Nur-Sultan holds “Interethnic language of the Great Steppe” online conference

The state language today became a unifying factor of the people of Kazakhstan, opined participants of the online conference “Uly Dalanyn Ultaralyk Tili” (Interethnic language of the Great Steppe), organized by Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan and Kazakh Ministry of Information and Social Development. This is evidenced by the huge number of participants in the forum initiated by the First President of Kazakhstan. All of them are representatives of different ethnic groups who speak Kazakh fluently. Another evidence is the results of the national project on the study and popularization of the state language, knowledge of the Kazakh culture and national traditions - “Mynbala”. This was emphasized in the speech by Deputy Chairperson of the Assembly Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

Kazakh Deputy Minister of Information and Social Development Marat Azilkhanov highlighted that Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the most relevant issues for the Kazakh society in his interview to “Ana tili” newspaper.

“President Tokayev said that Kazakh language is destined to become a truly language of interethnic communication. I think the popularization of the idea that the state language as the unifying factor of Kazakh citizens will be formed in the consciousness of our society,” Marat Azilkhanov said.
