Kazakh First President’s Library to host virtual exhibition to mark Memorial Day for Victims of Political Repression
‘Memory for the Future’ is the name of the video exhibition dedicated to the Memorial Day for Victims of Political Repression in Kazakhstan. The virtual exhibition covering the consequences of the Soviet repression of 1930s will be presented on the official website of the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The exhibition showing the exhibits from the museum’s collection of the Library is presented in a video format for the first time.
The virtual exhibition visitors will be able to see the thematic collection of the historic documents, as well as photo and video chronicles from the personal archive of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. In addition, the virtual video exhibition will present the books on state policy of Kazakhstan aimed at restoring the true facts about the victims of the Soviet totalitarian system and preserving historical memories.
People will be able to visit the virtual video exhibition ‘Memory for the future’ on May 31 at https://presidentlibrary.kz in the ‘Museum’ section and the ‘Virtual exhibition’ subsection.
