Kazakh journalist Beisen Kuranbek dies at 49
Galymurat Zhukel, a spokesperson of the Governor of the Almaty region, reported that a famous Kazakh journalist Beisen Kuranbek passed away at the age of 49.
Beisen Kuranbek was born on December 9, 1971 in the village of Kyzylzhar of the Kerbulak district of the Almaty region. He graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Kuranbek began his career as a journalist and the executive secretary of the ‘Sport’ national newspaper. After that, he started working on television, including the ‘Rakhat’, ‘Channel 31’, ‘Khabar’ and ‘Zhetysu’ TV channels, as well as the TV and Radio complex of the President of Kazakhstan.
The cherished image of Beisen Kuranbek will forever remain in the hearts of his colleagues. On her social media, Kazakh Minister of Information and Social Development Aida Balayeva expressed condolences to the family members and loved ones of a deceased Kazakh journalist.
“The TV Presenter, who left his mark on the Kazakh journalism and treated the country’s needs as his own and who was a generous man, has passed away,” the message says.
