Karagandy residents throw a mass disco party in the apartment buildings’ yards
Residents of Maikuduk district in Karagandy city behave as rigorous quarantine rules don’t apply to them. They threw a disco party in the yard of the high-rise buildings amid the state of emergency in Kazakhstan. The witness recorded the video of the party and posted it on social media. The video shows that the DJ at the disco party was simultaneously the host of the event. He thanked the people who danced for their participation after each song. Police officers were able to identify the violators of the lockdown restrictions due to the video posted on social media.
“We identified those who played the music and organized the dance party. A report is being drawn up. The violators will be punished under the article 476 of the Code of Administrative Offences. They will face either a fine of 10 monthly calculation indexes, equivalent of 27,780 Tenge (US$65) or 15 days in jail,” reported the Karagandy region Police Department.
