Convoy of ambulances seen on central streets of Kazakh cities
Tens of ambulances drove through central streets of the cities of Kazakhstan as a part of a flash mob organized by the Kazakh Healthcare Ministry. This way, healthcare workers were urging Kazakh citizens to follow the quarantine regulations and stay home.
Paramedics shouted the slogan ‘Stay at home so you don’t end up in the ambulance’ from loudspeakers while driving through the streets. They did this to remind the Kazakh citizens that nowadays their self-isolation is crucial to protect the whole nation from the novel coronavirus.
“This measure is the most effective way to contain the spread of coronavirus. This flash mob was conducted by the paramedics to call on the people to solidarity and understanding of the hard work the healthcare workers are doing to fight against the rapidly spreading COVID-19 infection,” Kazakh Healthcare Ministry reported.
