Quarantine Checkpoints are Reinforced with Drones in Kazakhstan.
Authorities are reinforcing the quarantine checkpoints with the unmanned aerial vehicles in Kazakhstan. This measure has been introduced to better monitor the compliance with the state of emergency rules at the checkpoints, press office of the Kazakh Ministry of Defense reported. Drone cameras will perform aerial reconnaissance day and night, track attempts to illegally cross the checkpoints.
Despite the travel ban introduced in the several regions of the country, there are still attempts to illegally enter the quarantined territory. Seven people have been detained in the Akmola region for attempting to enter the zone under strict quarantine rules. In addition, three foreign nationals, who made an attempt to travel to Almaty, were detained today. In both cases, those responsible for violations will be subjected to administrative liability.
