Now, up to 120 people can be on standby at the same time,” head of iKomek 109 city center, Zhannat Dubirova told the press.
iKomek center receives from 7,000 to 29,000 calls on a daily basis.
“Due to the state of emergency and the heavy workload of the call center, we ask all of the city residents to use digital services that have been developed for their convenience, including the iKomek mobile application or the large orange button on the official website of the Mayor’s office of Nur-Sultan, where people can file a request. They can use a telegram chat-bot iKomek and the SmartAstana mobile application. The questions, which the operator finds hard to answer during the first call, will be recorded and sent to the emergency response team,” Zhannat Dubirova added.
