Two Kazakh Citizens Injured Due to Turkish Plane Crash

President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, sent a telegram of condolences to President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as two avalanches in Turkey’s Van province killed 38 people while 53 were injured. Meanwhile, Pegasus Airlines’ aircraft which landed at Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen airport skidded off the runway and broke into three parts.

As a result, three people died while 179 people were injured, including two Kazakh citizens. They were hospitalized in the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital. It is reported that the Kazakh Consulate General provides assistance to the victims.
