Kazakhstan Took Part in Kyiv Media Week
The number of locally produced TV series will be increased next year by several times.
The announcement was made by representatives of leading Kazakh production studios at the 9th Kyiv Media Week.
This year, over 800 experts from the CIS countries, Europe, America, Asia and Africa took part in the event, which was held in the capital of Ukraine.
Representatives from 37 countries also participated in the event.
The event is an annual largest media forum in Central and Eastern Europe. It is dedicated to modern technologies and trends as well as realization of creative approaches and introduction of new effective business models in TV and film production.
“This year we talk a lot about new technologies, which change our everyday lives not only in the media industry. We had reports and presentations on artificial intelligence and machine learning. We talked about how blockchain technologies can be applied in the content industry.
Topics of international cooperation in TV and film production were discussed at the Kyiv Media Week as well.
Interaction between Kazakhstan and Ukraine has been increased significantly, experts said.
For example, the two countries have worked together to release the film, Kasym, which tells the story of Kazakh national hero, Kasym Kaisenov.
