Youth Expedition to Sacred Sites of Kazakhstan

A new project titled “Youth caravan” has been launched in Kazakhstan to develop domestic tourism.

Talented and creative young people aged between 16 to 29 years from all regions of Kazakhstan, popular viners, bloggers and TV anchors will travel to various part so of the country to popularize the tourist destinations. 

Selection of the project participants is well underway. The results will be announced on July 25.

In August, the teams will travel along seven routes covering natural and historical places of Kazakhstan.

During the trip, the participants of the youth caravan will share their photos, videos and impressions on social media.

Organizers hope the young people can create a buzz and contribute to the promotion of domestic tourism.

“We hope that this will help create new tourist routes in Kazakhstan. |We hope the project will be attractive for young travelers, so that they can learn more about their native country and explore it a bit,” said Deputy Chairman of Youth and Family Affairs Committee, Shakhmardan Baimanov.
