50 photographs from almost 30 countries were presented at a photo project exhibition titled ‘Out’ in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. The event showcased the best photographs taken by cameramen during the filming of a popular travel television program. The show also presents footages of Almaty.

Independence is one of the themes of the exhibition. But in a broader sense, it is cultural independence, particularly interactions among different cultures and nations and their friendship. This part of the exhibition is dedicated to the theme. These photos are taken from various parts of the world, including Kazakhstan. I am very pleased to see these photos because part of my life has some connections to Kazakhstan and I like the people of Kazakhstan and their cultural traditions. I am always happy to see them here in Ukraine even in pictures. It is very important for us that the cultural ties between the people grow stronger.

According to one of the creators of the photo project Oleg Avilov, the exhibition awakens the interest and passion for traveling among the visitors. The organizers said the event will be held on a regular basis.

Traveling always bring new impressions. We wanted to share what we saw with people. When people see the pictures, they establish a connection and become interested. We can tell stories in these pictures that they didn’t see and they would probably want to see it for themselves after seeing the pictures.

The photo exhibition was held at the Art Zavod platform in Kiev. The exposition was attended by about 3,500 people on its first day.

- 50 photographs from 26 countries, including Kazakhstan, are presented at the exhibition. The pictures depict people from around the world, their everyday lives and routine. The pictures are displayed at eye level in bright window frames. The exhibition is unique, modern and creative.
