The Kazakh Government will provide support to the local entrepreneurs engaged in energy saving projects. In the near future, a relevant programme for the alternative energy development will be launched in several cities of Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, the project is being implemented in Astana and Petropavlovsk. The investment projects aimed at low-carbon development are financed by the Government and the United Nations Development Program. Experts believe that such assistance will have a positive impact on the future of the energy services market.

- We are faced with the task of reducing the energy consumption by 25% by 2025 and by 50% by 2050. To date, we have developed a legal framework, we have created basic energy conservation mechanisms and established relevant cooperation with international organizations.

- The terms of the program provide a great opportunity to obtain preferential credits with a maximum amount of 130. 9 million tenge. This is the maximum loan that a borrower can receive. At the interest rate of 19% or less per annum, borrowers receive subsidies of 10%.
