Green technologies in medicine
Astana hosted an international research and practical conference dedicated to the classical and complementary medicine where treatments using non-traditional methods and natural sources were presented. Scientists and leading health experts from 18 countries attended the event. Specialists from Europe, Asia and Africa discussed innovative methods of treatments, latest technologies, development of cooperation in medical tourism and modern methods of alternative treatment. As part of the meeting, recognized experts of healthcare improvement organized master classes. Participants showed great interest in traditional herbal therapy.

- The demand is growing for the improvement of natural medicine which has no harm and side effects. Acupuncture herbal therapy heals a disease and doesn’t cause another illness. Acupressure and herbal steam therapy are good, too. Approximately 1,000 herbs are growing on our land. Their healing properties should be further studied.
