Kazakhstan receives humanitarian aid from Russia
Russia sent humanitarian aid to Kazakhstan in the form of medical masks, protective clothing and medicines.
“In continuation of the joint agreements on countering COVID-19 of Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, a special aircraft of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with humanitarian aid for Kazakhstan arrived in Nur-Sultan on July 8,” Kazakh Foreign Ministry press service reported.
Several more flights with humanitarian aid are expected from Russia soon.
“Kazakh Foreign Ministry expresses its gratitude to the government and fraternal people of Russia for their support in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic,” said a statement.
