Kazakhstan and UK discuss cooperation in post-COVID-19 world
When the COVID-19 pandemic is over, Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom need to continue strengthening cooperation in the fields of culture and foreign policy, Head of Soft Power and External Affairs Department at the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office Paul Brummell said at a virtual meeting organized by the British-Kazakh society.
“When I was the ambassador to your country, the British Council worked closely and still continues cooperation with the Bolashak Program. In addition, a joint album of the Welsh composer Karl Jenkins with the incredibly talented West Kazakhstan Philharmonic Orchestra was released. I also remember how the English football fans went to Almaty for the World Cup qualifying match and were pleasantly surprised by the huge Kazakh hospitality,” Brummell noted.
