Investigation on Causes of Boeing-737 Plane Crash

The Foreign Ministries of Canada and Iran will discuss the possibility of a joint investigation on the causes of Ukraine’s plane crash. According to Western intelligence services, there is evidence that the engine of the aircraft had overheated and the crash was possibly due to a technical malfunction. This was reported by Reuters, citing a source at the Canadian Security Services.

Authorities of Ukrainian International Airlines rejected the two versions of the initial causes of the plane crash, which are the aircraft’s technical issue and pilot error. The airline said that it’s Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft had undergone maintenance checks on January 6th. The airline also said that the aircraft was just three years old, and the UIA was its first and only owner.
