European Union to Maintain Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action

The European Union will do everything possible to maintain the current agreement on Iran’s nuclear program. This has been announced by the Representative of the European Commission, Dana Spinant, at a press conference in Brussels. On January 10th, EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation around Iran at an emergency meeting to stabilize the region.

Recently, the High Representative of the EU, Josep Borrell, has declared that the joint comprehensive plan of action for the Iranian nuclear program is more important than ever. It is also known that Borrell invited the Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, to Brussels to discuss the issue.

“No efforts to safeguard than Iranian nuclear deal. This is a key sentence that we will need to report. Borrell will spear himself no effort as coordinator in order to reach out to all the parties in order to enable the safeguarding of this deal,” said Spokesperson of European Commission, Dana Spinant.
