Meeting of Speakers of Parliament of Eurasian Countries Started in Nur-Sultan

The 4th meeting of Speakers of Parliament of Eurasian countries has started in the capital of Kazakhstan.

Delegations from 60 states as well as representatives of 14 international organizations attend the event.

The high-level parliamentary forum is organized for the first time.

In two days, the heads of legislative bodies will discuss the promotion of integration processes on the Eurasian continent, including implementation of multilateral projects in economy, legislative support for development of the digital economy and digital sovereignty of states as well as environmental protection, the fight against terrorism and security reinforcement.

“We are interested in successful cooperation. I express my gratitude to all for being here today. We pay special attention to the work of the legislature. I note that Kazakh deputies have established systematic relations with foreign colleagues, thereby strengthening the interstate friendship,” said First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
