ISO standards implementation
Representatives of the Central Asian and Eastern European countries discussed the introduction of ISO standards to support the Government policy. At a seminar in Astana, experts from 13 countries discussed about the economic and other advantages of adhering to international standards. Currently, the quality standards in Kazakhstan meet all the international requirements. However, specialists say it needs to be updated. Kazakhstan has been a full-fledged member of the ISO for 24 years and this year the country became a member of the organization’s council.

- The content is the use of standards in technical regulation for the health and safety of the people, but also in order to ensure the free circulation of goods. The link between regulation, standards, certification and market surveyance.
