NURSULTAN NAZARBAYEV, PRESIDENT OF KAZAKHSTAN, COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF KAZAKH ARMED FORCES:
- The Battle Flag symbolizes loyalty to the Homeland, courage and heroism. The sacred flag has always led the brave and worthy warriors to victory. There is a saying by Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, which goes “The heroic environment is formed by education.” Military traditions play a special role in promoting patriotism among our population. Every soldier, as a defender of the Homeland, should feel responsible for the country. Not only young men, but young women also served with dignity in the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. Today’s holiday is for everyone.
