Modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity projects
Modernization of Kazakhstan’s Identity program involves several activities, which includes researching the holy sites, restoration of historical facilities and revival of traditions. 308 large projects are under implementation in Almaty region, including shooting of feature films and promo videos, organization of foreign expeditions and digital preservation of holy sites. “Zhetysu 360 Degrees” is one of the implemented virtual projects under the program. It allows visiting 22 museums in the region on the Internet without leaving the comfort of the house. Experts of the international television and radio companies were involved in the shooting of the promo videos on holy sites.

- We are currently interested in augmented reality, such as the use of QR technologies to promote the holy sites as well as content visualization with an emphasis on important aspect such as audio-guides which is currently one of the most popular trends in all world museums and all popular tourist destinations that are related to tourism, history and archeology.
As part of the Modernization of Kazakhstan’s Identity program, over 200 various projects are under implementation in Karaganda region. The theatre season is not over for the local artists and is expected to be exciting and eventful. An outdoor platform where the actors’ stage plays, performances and musicals will start operating for the residents and visitors of Karaganda.

- We are glad that the Government-funded organizations, such as the Theater of Musical Comedy have joined us. They suggested projects that help to develop the interest of spectators in culture, music and theatrical art. They suggested holding the Karaganda Theater Nights, where residents of Karaganda and tourists can watch various performances of both Kazakh and foreign artists for free.
