- This is a very difficult work. We have a dictionary and a converter. All the grammar is available in Kazakh. All the state body and organizations release statements. All documents are stored in the app and the app helps people to write them.
Children learn languages and cultural heritage of Kazakhs through various mass events. As part of the Modernization of Kazakhstan’s Identity Program, young Kazakhs presented their projects at a forum held in Burabai. The forum organizers highlighted the activity of the Akmola schoolchildren who presented their works not only on a local scale, but also on the scale of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
AIDANA ALMAKHANOVA, FORUM PARTICIPANT:
- I created a yurt made of felt for my project. I’ve been working on it for three years. In 2016, I presented my project at an international conference. The idea is to create a resort made of only yurts.
ALEKSANDER PYATKOV, VICE-PRESIDENT, UNION OF CHILDREN'S ORGANIZATIONS:
- We need to revive the spiritual heritage, restore what may have been lost. We need to follow the Kazakh traditions and know the history of our ancestors. When children are exposed and involved in this kind of projects, they will start researching. In the beginning, there were 18 public museums and now there are 188 museums located only in schools.
