- Today a number of important agreements was signed aimed at further strengthening of our relationship. Three agreements on migration and re-admission will improve the exchange of information which will then improve the legal mechanism and citizens' stay on the territory of our countries. Moreover, a joint statement was achieved. We summed up the results of the joint work and determined what we need to do. I want to give the floor to President Emomali Rahmon. There are no unresolved issues between our countries neither political nor economic ones. The past 25 years show a story of friendship and mutual support.

- People of Tajikistan and I personally will never forget the most difficult times for us when you supported us, provided assistance and contributed to the peace process in Tajikistan and supported us economically. In over 26 years we had established relations that rose to the level of a strategic partnership. Tajiks know you as a wise and far-sighted politician of a global scale. Several of your books have been translated into Tajik.
