Slavic and European ethnic festival
Assembly of People of Kazakhstan reviewed the results of Ethnic group’s day city project in Astana. The project included a series of events. Within a year, creative collectives of ethno cultural associations held concerts, fashion shows of traditional and national clothing, art exhibitions and master classes. 24 ethno cultural associations are members of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. The project gave representatives of different nations the opportunity to present their traditions achievements. According to the organizers, this day has become a holiday of cultural unification. The Slavic and European ethnics’ festival closed the project.

- The event is held as part of the Modernization of Public Consciousness program. This once again highlights that Assembly of People of Kazakhstan gives a lot of equal opportunities to different ethnics. In order to realize their potential, specifically, language, cultural and social, it is necessary to introduce the capital’s residents to the cultural and traditional features.

- Kids from 4 to 11 year old study in our center. They learn German. Moreover, there are classes to teach languages to pass the international examinations and there are German classes for people who want to speak the language to be well rounded.
