New approaches of studying Kazakh
Kazakhstan is introducing innovative methods of the Kazakh language teaching by considering an international experience. During an online seminar in Astana, linguists and teachers from all over the country discussed advanced technologies in this area. The experts shared their successful experience and told about developments. For instance, the Shayakhmetov Coordination and Methodological Center for Development of Languages presented a series of textbooks on how to master the lexical minimums of the Kazakh language. The target audience is adults, the books meet modern standards. Now the center is finalizing the fifth book which will be issued before a New Year.

- We did the word monitorring. We looked for the most used spoken words and how many words a person uses daily. The first book includes the most used 137 spoken words. Then the book contains 500 words, 900 words and 1200 words. Now we are finalizing the 1500 most used spoken words. This is a basic level per day. As you might know, there is a basic level of English teaching. The lexical minimum was approved in Russia, too.
