Transitioning to Latin script is a carefully thought-out decision
The decree on the transition to the Latin script is actively discussed in Kazakhstan. According to political scientists and members of the Parliament, changing the Kazakh alphabet from Cyrillic to Latin is a reasonable choice in the country’s direction to global development. Experts claim that in the future this step will help us quickly integrate into the world community.

- This is the most important step. Language is a living system and has a concrete pragmatic meaning which means both the language and alphabet should help integrate into the world community. This is a common world practice. Our president is implementing all the reforms step by step and rationally, including this most important reform on the language. Of course, there will be difficulties, but strategically this is the right goal.

- The option took into account all the details. The approach of one letter and one sound faded out. On the other hand, it helped solving the main problem that caused attention. Now the digraphs have been remove
