Nur-Sultan Hosted International Forum on Educational Innovations

Studying the body structure, getting to know the work principles of aviation technology or even cooking a complex dish – one can learn these and more professional skills or improve the qualification just by using the unique development of Kazakh IT specialists – a virtual 3D trainer. This project has no analogues in the world.

The new technology was presented at international forum “Implementation of Innovations in Education” in Nur-Sultan.

“We have been developing these products since 2012; we have implemented them in Kazakhstan. We make our products with the materials made in Kazakhstan, and we export them abroad to the Commonwealth of Independent States. About eight regions in Russia purchased them. We received awards at the Moscow Educational Exhibition Fair. Our inventions are installed not only in colleges and elementary vocational training schools, but universities also purchase them,” said developer, Aleksandr Shankin.

The innovators from Russia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom also took part in the forum. They held meetings with the principals and professors of vocational schools, as well as representatives of relevant departments in the country. They proposed not only new educational programs, but also universal vocational guidance for students, exclusive linguistic projects, as well as programs for the implementation of international assessment standards.

“This year we are having a fairly wide range of issues for discussion at the forum; therefore the event is designed as a forum. The questions raised also relate to the topic of VET system. Here we would want to raise the existing problems in implementation of the criteria of employers, employment of graduates of VET system, introduction of new modular educational programs and dual training,” said Senior Staff of Association of Human Capital of Education and Science Development, Anar Yelemesova.
