Geo-Information Laboratory to Open in Kazakhstan

The first laboratory of Geo-Information Science will be opened in Kazakhstan.

It will be created with the support of NASA at the Astana Hub Technology Park.

The demonstration site will present the latest developments in the information data.

The announcement was made at an international conference on water-energy security and the aerospace industry in Central Asia.

“Only Kazakh experts will work in the Geo-Information Laboratory. NASA experts will conduct expertise and training programs, private companies will be able to order services, said Director of Agro Technological Hub, Marat Beksultanov.

At the international conference, topical issues of the agrotechnological complex development of Kazakhstan and the USA were also discussed.

At the end of the forum, a memorandum of cooperation between the Astana Hub and the Asian Hub was signed.

As part of the signing, the partners will conduct joint research in the area of agriculture.
