Active introduction of digital technologies in all sectors is ongoing in Kazakhstan. Citizens will be able to receive government services with the help of fingerprints.
They will not have to be physically present at Government offices, stand in lines and collect documents as all of the procedures will be conducted digitally including the appointment and payment of benefits. Pilot project will be implemented in some regions in Kazakhstan in autumn. The country will also implement another pilot project on Government services via biometric data.
ABYLAIKHAN OSPANOV, CHAIRMAN, ‘GOVERNMENT FOR CITIZENS’ STATE CORPORATION:
- A number of pilot projects in the Population Service Centers will be launched in July. Citizens will be able to leave their own biometric data, such as photos and fingerprints. Using these two tools, they can get authorized via mobile apps at the government website and easily receive government services through face scanning.
Artificial intelligence technologies will be used to monitor the domestic labor market. The technologies are expected to help in quick response to the changing needs of the market. The program will be implemented in the pilot mode by end of this year. The format of employment is also changing in Kazakhstan. The authorities intend to completely abandon the paper documents as companies are changing the method to electronic labor contracts. Electronic digital signature of a potential employee is sufficient for employment.
NARIMAN MUKUSHEV, KAZAKH DEPUTY MINISTER OF LABOR AND SOCIAL PROTECTION OF POPULATION:
- This innovation will provide an opportunity for citizens to be employed via ID in the future. Upon employment, people usually need to submit medical certificates and the original diploma or its notarized copy. This technology allows submitting all these documents online.
