155 more patients recover from COVID-19 in Kazakhstan

According to the official data from Kazakh Health Ministry, 155 patients were reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 102,219. 76 more COVID-19 cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours. The highest number of new infections over the past day, which is 28, was recorded in East Kazakhstan region, followed by Nur-Sultan with 20 new coronavirus cases. No new positive COVID-19 cases were reported in the city of Shymkent, as well as Zhambyl region, Pavlodar region, Turkistan region and Mangystau region, in the last 24 hours. Three more coronavirus cases were recorded in Almaty in the last day, two in Akmola region, one in Aktobe region, three in Almaty region, five in Atyrau region, two in West Kazakhstan region, four in Karagandy region, two in Kostanai region, one in Kyzylorda region and five in North Kazakhstan region.

To date, there are 107,450 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 14,029 in Nur-Sultan, 14,356 in Almaty, 5,187 in Shymkent, 3,464 in Akmola region, 3,238 in Aktobe region, 4,950 in Almaty region, 11,056 in Atyrau region, 8,605 in East Kazakhstan region, 4,119 in Zhambyl region, 6,845 in West Kazakhstan region, 10,235 in Karagandy region, 3,470 in Kostanai region, 3,241 in Kyzylorda region, 3,338 in Mangystau region, 3,890 in Pavlodar region, 4,060 in North Kazakhstan region and 3,367 in Turkistan region.

In addition, 364 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. 66 patients were reported to have recovered from pneumonia with coronavirus symptoms in the last day. A total of 31,532 such cases, 345 fatalities and 26,805 recoveries have been reported in the country since August 1.
