97,967 patients recover from coronavirus in Kazakhstan

596 more people have recovered from coronavirus over the last day; their number in the country increased to 97,967.

88 more cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the past day, 33 of them were asymptomatic carriers, Kazakh Health Ministry reported. The total number of infected people in Kazakhstan reached 106,032, including 14,238(+5) in Almaty, 13,851(+18) in Nur-Sultan, 10,931(+5) in Atyrau region, 10,118(+8) in Karagandy region, 8,227(+14) in East Kazakhstan region, 6,765(+8) in West Kazakhstan region, 5,175(+1) in Shymkent, 4,898(+1) in Almaty region, 4,089(+5) in Zhambyl region, 3,964(+7) in North Kazakhstan region, 3,841(+4) in Pavlodar region, 3,422(+4) in Kostanai region, 3,405(+5) in Akmola region, 3,334(+0) in Mangystau region, 3,322(+0) in Turkistan region, 3,231(+0) in Kyzylorda region and 3,221 (+3) in Aktobe region.

571 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms, six deaths and 79 recoveries were reported in the last day. 26,322 such cases, 301 deaths and 5,773 recoveries in total have been registered since August 1.
