78,633 coronavirus patients recover in Kazakhstan
1,877 patients were reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 78,633.
According to Kazakh Health Ministry, 476 more COVID-19 cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours. 184 of them are cases with no clinical symptoms of infection. The highest number of new infections over the past day, which is 97, was recorded in East Kazakhstan region, followed by Nur-Sultan and Karagandy region with 66 and 44 new coronavirus cases, respectively. 40 more COVID-19 cases were reported in Almaty in the last 24 hours, three in Shymkent, 21 in Akmola region, nine in Aktobe region, 18 in Almaty region, 15 in Atyrau region, 16 in Zhambyl region, 32 in West Kazakhstan region, 27 in Kostanai region, eight in Kyzylorda region, 13 in Mangystau region, 11 in Pavlodar region, 30 in North Kazakhstan region and 26 in Turkistan region.
To date, there are 101,848 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 13,452 in Nur-Sultan, 13,742 in Almaty, 5,134 in Shymkent, 3,172 in Akmola region, 3,143 in Aktobe region, 4,782 in Almaty region, 10,673 in Atyrau region, 7,622 in East Kazakhstan region, 3,963 in Zhambyl region, 6,482 in West Kazakhstan region, 9,675 in Karagandy region, 3,195 in Kostanai region, 3,207 in Kyzylorda region, 3,220 in Mangystau region, 3,610 in Pavlodar region, 3,671 in North Kazakhstan region and 3,105 in Turkistan region.
In addition, 934 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms and 10 deaths were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,666 cases and 198 fatalities have been reported in the country since August 1.
