76,756 coronavirus patients recover in Kazakhstan
2,079 patients were reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 76,756. According to Kazakh Health Ministry, 517 more COVID-19 cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours. 239 of them are cases with no clinical symptoms of infection. The highest number of new infections over the past day, which is 85, was recorded in East Kazakhstan region, followed by Karagandy region and Almaty with 56 and 52 new coronavirus cases, respectively. 38 more COVID-19 cases were recorded in Nur-Sultan in the last 24 hours, 10 in Shymkent, 32 in Akmola region, 10 in Aktobe region, 21 in Almaty region, 20 in Atyrau region, 19 in Zhambyl region, 39 in West Kazakhstan region, 27 in Kostanai region, four in Kyzylorda region, 21 in Mangystau region, 19 in Pavlodar region, 33 in North Kazakhstan region and 31 in Turkistan region.
To date, there are 101,372 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 13,386 in Nur-Sultan, 13,702 in Almaty, 5,131 in Shymkent, 3,151 in Akmola region, 3,134 in Aktobe region, 4,764 in Almaty region, 10,658 in Atyrau region, 7,525 in East Kazakhstan region, 3,947 in Zhambyl region, 6,450 in West Kazakhstan region, 9,631 in Karagandy region, 3,168 in Kostanai region, 3,199 in Kyzylorda region, 3,207 in Mangystau region, 3,599 in Pavlodar region, 3,641 in North Kazakhstan region and 3,079 in Turkistan region.
In addition, 972 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms and seven deaths were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. A total of 15,732 cases and 188 fatalities have been reported in the country since August 1.
