Kazakhstan records 1,069 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

According to Kazakh Health Ministry, 1,069 more COVID-19 cases were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. 499 of them are cases with no clinical symptoms of infection. Most of the new positive cases of infection in the country were recorded in Nur-Sultan with 221 coronavirus cases registered in the past day, followed by Almaty and East Kazakhstan region with 207 and 102 of cases, respectively. 31 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Shymkent, 57 in Akmola region, 33 in Almaty region, 30 in Atyrau region, 48 in Zhambyl region, 69 in West Kazakhstan region, 88 in Karagandy region, 58 in Kostanai region, seven in Kyzylorda region, 12 in Mangystau region, 30 in Pavlodar region, 55 in North Kazakhstan region and 21 in Turkistan region.

To date, there are 92,662 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 11,704 in Nur-Sultan, 12,286 in Almaty, 4,980 in Shymkent, 2,757 in Akmola region, 3,056 in Aktobe region, 4,439 in Almaty region, 10,348 in Atyrau region, 6,610 in East Kazakhstan region, 3,636 in Zhambyl region, 5,929 in West Kazakhstan region, 8,806 in Karagandy region, 2,796 in Kostanai region, 3,026 in Kyzylorda region, 2,940 in Mangystau region, 3,292 in Pavlodar region, 3,222 in North Kazakhstan region and 2,835 in Turkistan region.

672 patients were reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 62,511.
