COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan exceed 41,000

Kazakhstan will no longer separate the symptomatic and asymptomatic carriers in the overall statistics of coronavirus cases.

1,604 people have been infected with coronavirus over the past 24 hours, including 149 in West Kazakhstan region, 113 in Almaty and 110 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakh Health Ministry reported. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country reached 41,065, involving 5,442(+110) in Nur-Sultan, 5,501(+113) in Almaty, 3,151(+69) in Shymkent, 1,246(+92) in Akmola region, 1,511(+37) in Aktobe region, 2,096(+98) in Almaty region, 4,133(+229) in Atyrau region, 1,517(+98) in East Kazakhstan region, 1,423(+48) in Zhambyl region, 2,773(+149) in West Kazakhstan region, 4,829(+191) in Karagandy region, 934(+32) in Kostanai region, 1,212(+45) in Kyzylorda region, 1,134(+71) in Mangystau region, 1,139(+89) in Pavlodar region, 1,295(+81) in North Kazakhstan region and 1,719(+52) in Turkistan region.

550 patients recovered from coronavirus in the last day, bringing the total number of the recovered to 13,558.
