COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan exceed 19,000

According to Kazakh Health Ministry, 520 more people have been infected with coronavirus over the past 24 hours, including 62 in Nur-Sultan and 60 in Almaty. The infection spread is 2.8 percent.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country reached 19,285, involving 3,546(+62) in Nur-Sultan, 3,530(+60) in Almaty, 1,446(+42) in Shymkent, 391(+23) in Akmola region, 693(+22) in Aktobe region, 630(+10) in Almaty region, 1,560(+20) in Atyrau region, 555(+48) in East Kazakhstan region, 637(+11) in Zhambyl region, 1,267(+46) in West Kazakhstan region, 2,034(+41) in Karagandy region, 395(+26) in Kostanai region, 596(+12) in Kyzylorda region, 456(+7) in Mangystau region, 568(+33) in Pavlodar region, 287(+16) in North Kazakhstan region and 694(+41) in Turkistan region.

956 more asymptomatic carriers of coronavirus were registered in the last day, including 128 in Atyrau region and 91 in Karagandy region. Their number in the country increased to 12,677.

The number of recovered patients grew to 11,882. 136 died.
