Number of coronavirus cases in Kazakhstan increases to 17,732

According to Kazakh Health Ministry, 507 more cases of coronavirus have been registered over the past 24 hours, including 103 in Nur-Sultan and 58 in Karagandy region. The infection spread is 2.9 percent.

The total number of infected people with COVID-19 in Kazakhstan reached 17,732, involving 3,348(+103) in Nur-Sultan, 3,390(+32) in Almaty, 1,296(+19) in Shymkent, 328(+22) in Akmola region, 628(+18) in Aktobe region, 583(+10) in Almaty region, 1,440(+38) in Atyrau region, 429(+34) in East Kazakhstan region, 600(+9) in Zhambyl region, 1,157(+32) in West Kazakhstan region, 1,897(+58) in Karagandy region, 325(+33) in Kostanai region, 555(+7) in Kyzylorda region, 434(+15) in Mangystau region, 500(+31) in Pavlodar region, 225(+27) in North Kazakhstan region and 597(+19) in Turkistan region.

964 more asymptomatic carriers were reported in the past day, including 140 in Karagandy region and 137 in Atyrau region. Their number increased to 9,809, not involving in the overall statistics.

The number of recovered people grew to 10,897. 120 patients died.
