COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan reach 15,877

Nine more deaths from coronavirus were registered in the past day in Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent.

335 more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed over the past 24 hours in Kazakhstan, including 59 in Nur-Sultan, 37 in Karagandy region and 35 in Almaty. This was reported by Kazakh Health Ministry. The infection spread is 2.2 percent.

The total number of infected people with COVID-19 in the country grew to 15,877, involving 3,010(+59) in Nur-Sultan, 1,185(+18) in Almaty, 1,185(+18) in Shymkent, 242(+15) in Akmola region, 561(+15) in Aktobe region, 545(+11) in Almaty region, 1,362(+21) in Atyrau region, 298(+21) in East Kazakhstan region, 524(+15) in Zhambyl region, 1,041(+29) in West Kazakhstan region, 1,661(+37) in Karagandy region, 247(+6) in Kostanai region, 522(+8) in Kyzylorda region, 404(+3) in Mangystau region, 437(+13) in Pavlodar region, 134(+9) in North Kazakhstan region and 487(+20) in Turkistan region.

656 asymptomatic carriers of coronavirus were reported in the last day, including 119 in Atyrau region, 90 in Karagandy region and 71 in Almaty. Their number grew to 6,831, not involving in the overall statistics.

9,902 patients recovered. 97 people died.
