Coronavirus cases in Kazakhstan exceed 15,000

383 people have caught coronavirus over the past 24 hours in Kazakhstan, including 104 in Nur-Sultan, 50 in Karagandy region and 34 in Almaty. The infection spread is 2.6 percent.

The total number of cases amounted to 15,192, including 3,147 (+34) in Almaty, 2,864 (+104) in Nur-Sultan, 1,572 (+50) in Karagandy region, 1,324 (+14) in Atyrau region, 1,158 (+25) in Shymkent, 991 (+24) in West Kazakhstan region, 538 (+10) in Aktobe region, 527 (+12) in Almaty region, 507 (+7) in Kyzylorda region, 500 (+9) in Zhambyl region, 464 (+10) in Turkistan region, 397 (+18) in Mangystau region, 383 (+34) in Pavlodar region, 265 (+3) in East Kazakhstan region, 233 (+13) in Kostanai region, 205 (+10) in Akmola region and 117 (+6) in North Kazakhstan region.

Four more people died from COVID-19 in the past day, involving two in Almaty, one in Pavlodar region and one in Aktobe region. The country’s total death toll reached 81.

According to the latest data, the number of recovered patients also grew to 9,388.

600 more asymptomatic carriers of coronavirus have been registered in Kazakhstan on June 15, bringing their number in the country to 5,492.
