Coronavirus cases in Kazakhstan exceed 12,000
271 more people have been infected with COVID-19 in Kazakhstan over the past day, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 12,067, Kazakh Health Ministry reported. The infection spread grew 2.3 percent.
2,344(+55) cases were confirmed in Nur-Sultan, 2,741(+26) in Almaty, 909(+3) in Shymkent, 167(+1) in Akmola region, 367(+4) in Aktobe region, 402(+21) in Almaty region, 1,175(+35) in Atyrau region, 159(+11) in East Kazakhstan region, 405(+7) in Zhambyl region, 754(+22) in West Kazakhstan region, 1,024(+68) in Karagandy region, 191(+7) in Kostanai region, 449(+1) in Kyzylorda region, 308 in Mangystau region, 224(+7) in Pavlodar region, 64(+3) in North Kazakhstan region and 384 in Turkistan region.
6,240 patients were able to overcome the deadly virus and recover.  Unfortunately, four people died from COVID-19 in a day, bringing the country’s death toll to 48.
