COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan reach 11,308
450 more COVID-19 cases were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours, including 31 in Almaty, 101 in Nur-Sultan, 69 in Atyrau region, 59 in Karagandy region, 32 in Shymkent, 44 in West Kazakhstan region, 31 in Kyzylorda region, three in Zhambyl region, nine in Turkistan region, eight in Almaty region, five in Aktobe region, 17 in Mangystau region, one in Pavlodar region, five in Kostanai region, 14 in Akmola region, 16 in East Kazakhstan region and five in North Kazakhstan region. The infection spread grew 4.1 percent.
To date, there are 11,308 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan. Almaty has the biggest number of 2,647 cases of infection, followed by Nur-Sultan with 2,207 cases. There are a total of 1,105 confirmed coronavirus cases in Atyrau region, 932 in Karagandy region, 867 in Shymkent, 665 in West Kazakhstan region, 402 in Kyzylorda region, 380 in Zhambyl region, 379 in Turkistan region, 361 in Almaty region, 343 in Aktobe region, 272 in Mangystau region, 206 in Pavlodar region, 182 in Kostanai region, 166 in Akmola region, 135 in East Kazakhstan region and 59 in North Kazakhstan region.
A total of 5,404 COVID-19 patients in Kazakhstan reported to have recovered. The overall coronavirus-related death toll in the country stands at 41.
